Landon Scott was born in Tehachapi, California to parents Mitch and Anna Scott and had several siblings. Living in Tehachapi, Landon was presumed to grow up and become a farmer or an oil drill worker like many of the men in the town. That wasn't his ways though. As much as Gabriel Ray, Landon's elder cousin, was his rival; he was also his mentor. Gabriel had been a face of Hollywood since he was a child, and Landon hated him and his talents because he wanted something similar. It wasn't until Landon's later teen years did he realize that Gabriel could help him do the same; and sure enough he did. In Landon's senior year of high school, he had obtained his first acting role as Xander Harris in Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Gabriel played a big part in getting Landon this role by talking to the directors and producers, saying how much his cousin could play the part perfect. Gabriel wasn't far off in that idea, Landon played the part well and it had kick started his career. Getting this part meant that as soon as Landon graduated, he was leaving for good. Until then however, Landon would have to make frequent drives to Los Angeles to film.
When Landon turned 18, he was glad to be rid of the country life and going out to the big city; not just because of the never ending lights, but because there was a constant battle going on at home between his parents that he wanted nothing to do with. Between his time acting and going out and clubbing during his nights in L.A., Landon had begun to explore his interest in music. He didn't believe he was really all that good, but it was a hobby that would one day become something much greater.
During one of the parties going on in L.A. when Landon was still 18, he hooked up with a fiery red headed girl that had a matching fiery attitude to go along. As soon as they locked glances, she very much owned him. It was unfortunate that Landon didn't get even ask for her name or phone number. He only referred to her as Miss Priss. It wasn't until a few months later would he run into her again at a Starbucks and officially meet her, Lindsay Spencer. Of course she demanded free coffee from him, and he would give it to her.
Landon would have never guessed that this fiery red head would teach him how to love while stealing his heart. On Landon's 20th birthday she had planned a small surprise party at Chuck E Cheese for him. This was the day he would receive the best gift he could have ever been given. In front of his friends and even a few of his family members, Miss Priss announced that she was going to have a baby. Okay at first Landon was scared and had fainted, but when he finally came to, he was overjoyed. Spending months preparing for it, Landon focused hard on learning to become a father, likewise he had forced Gabriel to go to a few parenting classes with him and Lindsay because Gabriel was to be named Godfather and his brother Jason would be named godmother to baby Marie. A few weeks prior to the date that Lindsay was due, Landon had planned a BBQ for the family and friends. Lindsay didn't know about the BBQ, but she did know that Jason was going to be around in town, and Landon had asked her to pick him up from the airport, so she did. Everyone had come while Lindsay was picking up Jason, even Landon's grandparents from Italy came out, and they never really flew out to see the family. Lindsay was a big deal, everyone loved her and they were all excited that Landon was going to finally propose to her. Things didn't go according to plan though. Hours had passed by with no word for Jason or Lindsay, and Landon had tried calling both of their cell phones numerous times. A horrible few hours later, there was a call from Jason. There had been an accident. Jason had gotten pretty mangled, broke a few bones and received a concussion, but the hospital had to perform an emergency c-section on Lindsay as the crash was too much for her and the baby. Marie Spencer-Scott was born on March 17th at 9:58 PM, Landon got to hold her only for a few moments before she was taken away to ICU. Lindsay passed away at 11:49 PM. On the morning of March 18th, 2001 at 1:28 AM, Marie Spencer-Scott passed away.
Landon was devastated. Since that day, he had been in a downward spiral, his use of alcohol and recreational drugs increased as well as his seclusion to a lot of people. However, he really didn't want to live alone again after all of that, so Landon started asking if his sister Marissa, at the time age 12, would move in with him. It wasn't until a little after her 13th birthday did her and both of their parents agree that she could move to L.A. with Landon. His excuse really was that he wanted to get her away from the fighting that went on and off in the Scott family house hold, but the truth of it was, he needed someone there for him, and his sister had meant the world to him and seemed to be the one to help keep him on track.
In the early fall of 2007 Landon started seeing Birdie DiLuca which turned into a few scandals that the paparazzi seemed to love as Birdie had already been dating someone else at the time as well as Landon supposedly also already had a girlfriend. Everyone knew that they had been fooling around together, but it wasn't until early November that each of their respective relationships had been put aside and they officially became a couple. It was a relationship that started hard and fast, but from the very beginning Landon had been there for Birdie, and likewise vice versa.
Late November on Thanksgiving, Landon and his siblings had proceeded to lose their parents to an accident that seemed all too familiar to his past. Just when he thought he was better and living the life again, he had a complete spiral crash. He closed himself off to Birdie as well as most of his friends. The only thing he truly fought for was the custody of his younger siblings. There was no will left for any of their guardianship as well as the property in Tehachapi. Sure, there could have been plenty of other people that his siblings would have been in more capable hands, but this was something that in Landon's mind he needed to do. He fought hard, even against his cousin Gabriel who was likewise fighting for custody of Landon's younger siblings. Gabriel and Landon neither wanted it to go as far as a court case. Agreements were made on both parts that Landon would take custody as long as he continued to let Jason take the kids often, as well as Gabriel could too. They were family and should be taken care of by family and not go to foster homes, and this was something that Landon couldn't do alone, and everyone knew it. It only shown to be true when Landon had been put into Rehab in mid April of 2008. He stayed for a full month then got out. By this time, he was happy that his family was there to support him, as well as help with his siblings. Ever since his release from rehab, Landon had been working hard on getting his life back in order, to the way it should be. Although his hardships of what had went on had put a rift between him and Birdie, one that he had always regretted, he still had many people that he couldn't let down again. He would force himself to grow up from his immature ways to become a better man, one that someone could actually rely on.
